A little about myself
When I was younger and a pc tech at my local store tried to charge me $80 for a bios issue, I picked Computers as my profession. Through experience I learned that working for other computer repair companies was only going to result in the end customer being overcharged, which puts me in a hard spot, being the middle man between the companies charging practices and my desire to help the customer. My father was a mechanic on the side and I believe in the way he conducted his fair pricing.
I started my career with computers in 1999, after signing up for the Marine Corps. Up till mid 2003, I did Network Administration and desktop support at Miramar air station in San Diego. After finishing my time with the Marines, I started work with PC Club as a PC tech. During my time with PC Club I started supporting small business with server migrations and general server support. I did 2 years at PC Club before I attempted to work wholly on my own. In hopes of being able to supply better pricing and service to my customers. After I ran out of capital 9 months later, I applied to work with an independant support firm (Realtimesupport), who I worked with for about 9 months before I got picked up by Dell to do support work at Boeing. I currently still work at Boeing and perform work on the side after hours, all while continuing my education and supporting my family.
Rates
Offering both on-site/hourly and flat rate services.
$60 - 1st hour, $40 within Long Beach
$30 - 2nd+ hour

$10 off (per trip, max of 2) if end user drops off/picks up machine.
